Hygiene principles

Cleaning a clinic is not the same as cleaning an office. We follow the principles in SS 8760014:2025 (Cleaning to reduce the spread of infection within healthcare) and Vårdhandboken, and document the responsibility split with your clinical staff before we start.
Colour-coded equipment
Separate cloths and mops per area type (toilet, treatment, kitchen, common). Reduces cross-contamination — a core principle of Swedish standard SS 8760014:2025 for healthcare cleaning.
Method-based cleaning
Written cleaning instructions per room type, with frequency and method. Audited internally. Clear hand-off between cleaning staff and clinical staff for what each side is responsible for.
Microfibre system
Pre-prepared microfibre cloths and mops, one fresh side per surface where applicable. Far less water and chemical use than traditional methods, and better mechanical removal of microorganisms.
Trained, named staff
Same cleaner whenever possible. Trained in basic healthcare hygiene principles (Vårdhandboken) and in your specific clinic's routines. No subcontracting.
eco-friendly cleaning products
We use Swan-labelled (Svanenmärkt) cleaning chemistry as a baseline. Surface disinfection is used where the clinic's hygiene policy requires it, with the products the clinic specifies.
Responsibility, not improvisation
Clinical surfaces and instruments are the clinic's responsibility. Cleaning of premises and general surfaces is ours. The line is documented before we start — never assumed.

A written method per room: frequency, products, colour code, sequence. The instruction lives with the staff who clean the clinic.
