Laundry room cleaning
The laundry is the most-used common space in a housing association. We clean machines, mangling rooms, floors and filters regularly — happier residents and longer machine life.
What we do
- Washers and dryers inside and out, rubber gaskets
- Mangle, mangle cloth and mangle room
- Floor: damp mopping or scrubbing depending on floor type
- Filter cleaning in tumble dryers (lint and condenser filter)
- Shelves, windows and lighting
- Restocking of cleaning material and a reminder of booking rules
How we work
1. Walk-through
Review laundry, machine types, booking system and current routine.
2. Plan
Frequency. Typically 1–3 shifts per week depending on number of apartments.
3. Operations
Shifts on a fixed day. We use chemistry gentle to textiles and machines.
4. Maintenance
Filters cleaned every shift, deeper maintenance every 6 months per manufacturer spec.

Does cleaning extend machine life?
Yes, especially filter cleaning in tumble dryers. Clogged filters are the most common cause of machine failure in laundries.
How often is the laundry cleaned?
Depending on number of apartments, 1–3 times per week. At least 1 shift per week is recommended in housing associations with over 30 apartments.
What if a resident leaves a mess?
We clean, document in the binder and report to the board so you can engage residents on recurring issues.
