    HOUSING AND PRACTICAL INFO

Housing and practical information in Mölndal

Mölndal is a separate municipality just south of Gothenburg. The centre has been rebuilt with new apartments near the station, and in Kvarnbyn older industrial buildings stand by the rapids. Around them are apartment blocks from several decades, and further south in Kållered and Lindome villas and terraced houses with gardens dominate.

Mölndal is within our regular area and the RUT deduction works the same way as in Gothenburg. The new buildings in the centre have lifts and often a garage underneath. Terraced houses in the southern parts often have stairs between floors and their own laundry room, which we factor into the time.
